Life after Spartan

I'm a massage therapist, athlete, a personal trainer, and mom. I love the outdoors in all its forms.  Some of my favorite things to do include playing beach volleyball by the ocean in California, rock climbing up a sandstone wall in Southern Utah, Running along a mountain trail, and reading Harry Potter to my kids.

My journey to become a massage therapist came as a result of experiencing multiple injuries as an athlete.  Training as a professional athlete placed a lot of demand on my body that didn't always hold up.  I experienced every body pain/ injury imaginable.  At one time or another, I've had Plantar Fasciitis, 2x Second Degree Hamstring Strains, a shoulder injury, lower back pain, upper back pain, severe migraine inducing neck tightness, hip muscle injuries, a second degree calf strain, a quad strain, knee pain from tight quads, shin splints, and carpal tunnel, syndrome.

Thankfully, I found an amazing massage therapist that was able to help me through all of these injuries.  She helped my body heal itself when other medical professionals could not.  I was inspired and I knew that I wanted to do this for my loved ones with pain, and for others around me.

I am committed to living a life with less pain, and helping others to do the same.  Massage therapy has changed my life in so many ways.
